Ep. 01 – Gary Rydstrom

Gary Rydstrom is among the most awarded and celebrated Sound Designers of the modern era. He has collaborated with Steven Spielberg on numerous films and is the man behind Jurassic Park, Toy Story, and Terminator 2.

In this chat, Gary and I discuss his beginnings and the importance of experimentation in sound design. We talk about the evolution of technology with thoughts of the huge paradigm shifts in the way we work that have taken place over the years.
